Webinar : Fear to Wisdom– by Bob Dunham

Join Bob Dunham in a free webinar on July 07 at 12 noon EDT to explore how fear to wisdom is a natural part of our life journey, a skill we can cultivate, and a part of our larger Journey Into the Future conversation.

In the journey of life we have been given fear to help us survive. But if we don’t have a context bigger than our fear it will run our lives with contraction, avoidance, and paralysis.
Fear’s cousins – anxiety, worry, doubt, and disconnection – can also set up camp in our minds, bodies, and worldviews. To be healthy and have freedom of choice we need to establish a relationship with our fears to allow them to advise us, but not kidnap us.

Most of us spend our days focused on action, goals, and results. We work hard to achieve outcomes, solve problems, and move forward. Yet in the process, we often overlook something equally important—the quality of our experience while creating that future.

This includes somatic self-awareness and centering, choosing our assessments well, and cultivating contexts of our capacities to choose. Ancient Chinese wisdom associates the journey from fear to wisdom with the depths of water, facing the unknown, and shifting to allow our inner unconscious to arise as a revelation instead of an enemy. These factors and wisdom will be the focus of conversation in our upcoming webinar on Fear to Wisdom at noon on July 7.
